Students of Aghor Vidyapeeth made 1 day academic field tour to Kawardha Bhoramdev

In Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara, under the efficient direction of Mr. Gopal Ram Ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey, students were taken to visit Kawardha Bhoramdev for educational tour and picnic on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The children left the school for Bhoramdev Kawardha at 5:00 am under the supervision of teachers. Special care was taken of the needs of children during the journey. From time to time, they were provided self-support and toilet. The children were very excited for the picnic and the journey was enjoyed playing Antakshari. The children were very happy to see the natural beauty of Bharam Dev. It is said that Bhoramdev Temple is a 1000 year old temple which is located 18 km from Kawardha in Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh and 125 km from Raipur. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is known as Bhoramdev. This temple is artificially situated among the mountain ranges, it was built during the 18th century, here the temple shows a glimpse of the Khajuraho temple, hence this temple is also called Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh. Bhoramdev has a complex of Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has a group of four temples, with the oldest temple made of bricks, the main temple is built of stone. It is said that during the reign of Phani Nagavanshi king Gopal Dev, this temple has been built in Nagar style in the seventh century. The grandeur here is a gift of nature. Bhoramdev Temple is a very ancient temple. It is believed that the wishes of the devotees who come here are fulfilled. The children were provided historical and archaeological information of the temple here, they were also given a visit to the Archaeological Museum here. The children entered the temple while reciting Rudrashtakam and the philosophy of Lord Shiva was taken advantage of. Along with Bhoramdev Temple, Chherki Mahal and Madwa Mahal are famous tourist places. Mahadev’s penis is located in 5 feet depth, there is also a beautiful pond in front of the temple, in which the visitors can enjoy boating. A beautiful statue of Mahadev is also installed behind the pond, which is increasing the natural beauty there is the Makal mountain group around the temple, which is the temple in the green valley. There are also beautiful gardens near the temple in which swings have been swing for children to play and people can also rest. After darshan, the children were given lunch there, after which the children also visited the market there. Photos were also taken by the children in the temple courtyard.

Returning from Bhoramdev, the children visited Chhattisgarh’s famous sugar factory which is located in village Ramhepur located in National Highway – 30 in Kabirdham district. There was also educational tour and gained knowledge of the production of sugar in the sugar factory and its process. Sugarcane Officer Shri Rupesh Chandravanshi played an important role in providing information to the children and in the visit to the factory and provided complete information about the factory subject to the children. He informed that the Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory established in Kabirdham district is exported abroad along with supply of sugar in the country. He made the children visit the entire factory and also provided information about the process of sugar construction. Students came here to learn very informative things. Teachers kept evaluating children at all times and kept taking care of their needs. The information about all the time of the children was conveyed to their parents through mobiles and kept on relieving them that the children are absolutely safe and efficient. During the yatra, Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey lived with children every moment and kept taking information about their activities. The children roamed and reached their city Akaltara safe at night.
All teachers and teachers have made their significant contribution in making the journey successful.
