Indian Classical Music program concluded at AVP

In the Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha, with the blessings of founder of the institution, Param Pujya Baba Ji Shri Kapalik Dharma Rakshit Ram Ji's and President of the institution, Mr. Gopal Ram Ji, Principal under the efficient direction of Mr. Gopal Ram Ji, Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey, on 28 March 2025 Friday, a committee for a brilliant spikes for the promotion of Indian classical music and culture) was organized among the brilliant Spike McKay youth. World famous young Sarod Vadika Debmedmita Bhattacharya and Deepak Kumar Sahu participated as tabla player. Debasmita Bhattacharya is a young artist of Indian classical music, who has played an important role in establishing the dignity of Indian classical music by giving presentations of the program abroad. Debasmita Bhattacharya captivated everyone by presenting Indian classical music very easily. Deb Smita Bhattacharya belongs to the Indian classical music artist family of Kolkata and has learned to play sarod from her father. He came to Aghor Vidyapeeth and shared important characteristics of music with the audience present there. The first program was started by Tilak and Pushpaguch, the guests who came to participate in the program. The program was attended by Mr. Gopal Ram Ji, President of the institution, Mrs. Sonali Singh Principal Public School Banari Janjgir Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey, former Principal Mr. Chittaranjan Singh ji, all parents and students of Aghor Vidyapeeth were present. Through this program, Debasmita ji left the unforgettable impression in everyone's mind, which will be remembered by everyone for years. Debasmita ji said that the purpose of Mr. Karan Seth ji, the founder of the Speak McKay Committee, is to connect people with Indian classical music so that our culture is never forgotten. This society inspires the young artists of the country to join Indian classical music. Debasmita ji inspired the children to perform and encourage them during the program. He explained the importance of music in our daily life, How did tabla and sarod originate,he shared among everyone through interesting stories. The respected guests, students and guardians present there were different from his sarod playing. During this program, the forum was conducted by Kumari Shriyati Dubey, a student of class XI and Smt. Mamta Sahu, senior Hindi teacher of the school. The sound system was held by the school's music teacher Mr. Mahendra Kumar Gandharva. The guests who came to perform in the program were honored by the Chairman Shri Gopal Ram Ji, Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey and Sonali Singh Ji Principal Brilliant Public School Banari by offering quince, shawl and medal. In the end, a vote of thanks was sent by Principal Smt. Anjali Dubey for making the program successful by the guests, respected members, parents, students and all the staff of the school for making the program a success. In the end, the cooperation of all the teachers and employees of the school in making this program successful was commendable.

Inter-school Kho-Kho competition organised at AVP

On Sunday, 30 March 2025, with the blessings of the founder of the institution, the most revered Babaji Shri Kapalik Dharma Rakshit Ram Ji, president of the institution - Shri Gopal Ram Ji, Principal - Mrs. Anjali Dubey, a Kho-Kho tournament was organized at AVP on the auspicious occasion of Hindu New Year, in which participants from various schools took part. The program was started with the worship of Goddess Saraswati by Sarpanch Shri Jitendra Singh (Raja Bhaiya) Podi, who came as the chief guest. This tournament was organized in the dignified presence of Shri Sanjay Yadav Sports Officer Akaltara Block, Gaurav Katakwar Kho-Kho Academic Janjgir, Shri Chandrakant Shrivas Ji and Rajkumar Ji Chief Sports Director (Referee) of Chhattisgarh Organization as special guests. Mr. Gaurav Katakwar from Kho-Kho Academic Janjgir was in-charge of this tournament. Eight teams of participants took part in this competition in which schools Aghore vidya peetha Podi Dalha Boys-Girls Team, Manka Public School Champa, Swami Atmanand Government School Pamgarh, Saraswati Shishu Mandir Boys-Girls Team Janjgir Naila, DAV Public School Akaltara, Government Higher Secondary School Gautara District Bilaspur had come. Before starting the competition, the chief guest shook hands with the children and encouraged them and got their introduction. Before the start of the competition, the children were encouraged by the Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey. Competing with their participants, Gautara Bilaspur, Manka Public School Champa, Swami Atmanand Pamgarh and DAV Akaltara made their place in the semi-final round. The semi-final match was played between Gautara and Manka Public and Swami Atmanand Pamgarh and DAV in which Gautara and Pamgarh secured their place in the final round by performing better. While playing the final, Gatoura secured first position, Pamgarh secured second position and DAV Akaltara secured third position. While felicitating the winning participants on behalf of the program's organizing institution Aghor Vidyapeeth, Mr. Jitendra Singh and Mr. Krishnamurthy Pathak, who came as special guests, awarded the first prize of Rs. 5000, medal and citation to Aghor Vidyapeeth Girls Kho-Kho Competition and Government Higher Secondary School Gatoura, Bilaspur. The second prize of Rs. 2500, medal and citation was awarded to Saraswati Shishu Mandir Naila Janjgir Girls and Swami Atmanand School Pamgarh Boys participants. The third prize of medal and citation and cash amount of Rs. 2100 was awarded to the participants of DAV Akaltara by Param Pujya Baba Ji. Each participant participating in the game was awarded a citation as a consolation prize and their morale was boosted so that in future they can perform better and win. The sports teachers who accompanied the children were also honored and given mementoes. The Principal congratulated the children and thanked them for making the sports event a success. Mr. Gaurav Katakwar, Mr. Chandrakant Shrivas, Mr. Rajkumar and teachers of Aghor Vidyapeeth, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Patel, Akhilesh Divya, Jitendra Kumar Tandon made a special contribution in organizing the sports competition. They played the role of sports commentator very responsibly. Mohan Yadav made a special contribution in the sound system. In the end, the contribution of all the teachers of the school, visitors from outside, spectators and all the employees was praiseworthy, who played a special role in making the sports competition successful by giving their valuable time.  

Excellent performance by students of Aghore Vidya Peetha children in CBSE Olympiad

Aghore Vidya Peetha Podi Dalha Akaltara is such a center of education where efforts have always been made for the all-round development of children. With the blessings of the founder of Aghor Vidyapeeth, the most revered Baba Ji Shri Kapalik Dharma Rakshit Ram Ji, the President of the institution, Shri Gopal Ram Ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey organize many activities to bring out the talent of the children so that the children can develop all-round. Children are constantly progressing under their guidance. One of them is the Olympiad examinations which were conducted for the session 2024 - 25 in which the children of Aghor Vidyapeeth scored high marks. Olympiads are competitive examinations that help to uncover the hidden talents and skills of children. The purpose of these competitive examinations is to evaluate the performance of each student and promote concept-based education with logical thinking.  Olympiad examination is a competitive examination conducted by various bodies for students from class 1 to 12 at the national and international level. Students from different boards and schools participate in it and compete with each other on the overall educational level. These exams are conducted on the basis of school syllabus in correlation with the respective boards, ICSE, CBSE and other state boards. Olympiad exams are conducted for different categories at different levels. The mode of conducting Olympiad exams is online as well as offline. The children of Aghor Vidyapeeth also participated in this exam and brought laurels to their parents and their school by passing the exam according to different subjects and syllabus.  Kumari Garima Kashyap from class 2 received silver medal in Hindi subject. Suryakant Sahu from class 6 received silver and bronze medal in computer and mathematics subject. Lakshya Dongre from class 7 received bronze medal in general knowledge and current affairs and mathematics subject. Yash Kashyap from class 7 also received bronze medal in mathematics subject. Shashank Thawait from class 8 got bronze medal in Mathematics and Kajal Kashyap from class 10 got bronze medal in Science. Thus, the children of Aghor Vidyapeeth made their school proud by participating in the examinations of various subjects and getting success. Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey congratulated the children on their success and encouraged them to keep moving forward in the same way and wished them a bright future. The Principal gave certificates and medals to the children during the special morning prayer meeting.

Nutrition week celebrated in AVP

Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara celebrated the Nutrition Fortnight Week directed by CBSE from 15th April to 22nd April under the blessings of the founder of the institution Param Pujya Baba Ji Shri Dharm Rakshit Ram Ji and the able guidance of Chairman Shri Gopal Ram Ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey. This activity was organized for children from Bal Vatika to Class 12th. In these activities, on the first day, children were asked to bring fruits as food, which included banana, pomegranate, grapes, orange etc. because by taking fruits as a balanced diet, the body gets various types of vitamins and many types of benefits, which keep the body fit and healthy. On the second day, children were asked to bring sprouted grains as food. What effect does taking it as food have on our health and how many nutrients our body gets, this information was shared with the children by the teachers. The third day was celebrated as Salad Day in which teachers informed the children about the benefits our body will get by consuming cucumber, carrot, beetroot etc. in food. On the fourth day, children were encouraged to include food items made from coarse grains in their diet. On the fifth day, children were encouraged to take dry fruits as a balanced diet and the school teacher Mrs. Kamal Shahdev made the children aware of its features. On the sixth day, traditional food day was celebrated under which children were given a group meal with Rasgulla, Idli, Makki ki Roti, Mustard greens, Biryani, Kachori, Chole Bhature, Banaras chaat, traditional dishes of Chhattisgarh Khurmi, Malpua, Tasmai, Papchi etc. On April 22, Earth Day was also celebrated during the special prayer meeting in which children gave an educational message of keeping the environment safe through drama. On the last day, dated 23/04/25, the Principal also took the children on an educational tour to the potter of Podi village to explain the utility of earthen pots so that the children can also get information about the utility of earthen pots and the specialty of their use. All these activities were conducted under the supervision of the school's cultural in-charge Ms Nikita Makhija. All the teachers and staff of Aghor Vidyapeeth played an important role in conducting all the activities of the nutrition week.

AVP students performed with excellent results in CBSE examination

Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara, which was established by Param Pujya Baba Ji with the objective of all-round development of children and with his blessings, under the able guidance of the President of the institution, Shri Gopal Ram Ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey, the students of the school have achieved excellent results in the CBSE board examination in the session 2024-25. Aghor Vidyapeeth, in Podi Dalha of Akaltara, Janjgir Champa, is such an educational institution where attention is paid to the all-round development of children in every way so that the students there can improve their social, moral, educational level. Special work is done by the institution on the cultural, mental and intellectual development of children so that children can get better results in future and bring glory to their area. There is an atmosphere of excitement in the school premises when the CBSE board results of the children are out. The teachers of Aghor Vidyapeeth and the entire school family are very happy. For better results of the children, the Chairman of the institution Mr. Gopal Ram ji and the Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey called subject experts and conducted special counselling from time to time and meetings were also held with the parents. The results of the school children are as follows: from class 10th: Jaiprakash Sahu 83.2%, Unnati Singh 82%, Saurabh Soni 81.2%, Shivanshu Kumar 80.6%, Angel Mirza 79.2%, Kushagra Banjare 79.4%, Sneha Singh 78.6%, Prakhar Singh 78.8%, Shraddha Singh 75%, Kajal Kashyap 73.6%, Omkar Nayak 73.2%, Kumari Sonia Patel made the school and her family proud by scoring 72.6% marks and Class 12th student Kumari Uma Kashyap who scored 81.6% in Biology subject and Kumari Roshni Dewangan by scoring 81% in Commerce subject made the school and her family proud. The founder of the institution, Param Pujya Baba Ji wished the children and blessed them for their bright future and the Chairman Mr. Gopal Ram Ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey congratulated the children for their good results and wished them a bright future and encouraged them to perform well in their future.

One-day seminar on Gender Sensitivity organised on Foundation Day and CBSE training program

A one-day seminar on the topic of 'Gender Sensitivity' was organized on 11 June 2025 at Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara. In the program, as CBSE training provider, Mrs. Neelam Singh and Mr. Prabhas Chandra ji gave training on the topic of 'Gender Sensitivity' to the teachers of Janjgir district. First of all, the trainers who came to give training were welcomed by applying tilak and presenting a plant by the President of the institution, Mr. Gopal Ram ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey. Addressing all the teachers, Mrs. Neelam Singh made them aware of the topic of gender sensitivity and provided various information. She told how teachers can play an important role in eliminating gender discrimination in the society. She told that just as men are given importance in the society, in the same way women are also worthy of getting respect and apart from these two genders, another gender which is ignored by the society, whom we know as transgender, also has the right to live a respectable life in the society, we should also play our part in giving them an equal place in the society. He also gave many examples of how our society is changing now and transgenders are also getting fame on the basis of their qualities. While addressing the program, Shri Prabhas Chandra Ji told the solutions to remove gender inequality through various activities and presented two questions to the person, first what are we? Second why are we. He said that when we think about these two things, we will get solutions to remove gender inequality. All the teachers of Jai Bharat School Baloda, Shri Krishna Public School Dabhra, Brilliant Public School Banari, GLD Public School Tamnar, and Aghor Vidyapeeth were present in this program. In the training program, the stage was conducted by Mrs. Kamal Shahdev and the responsibility of technical work was taken by Mr. Mohan Kashyap and Mahendra Gandharva. Also, the 13th foundation day of the school was celebrated with great joy in a devotional atmosphere. Under the blessings of the school's founder Param Pujya Baba Ji and the able guidance of Chairman Shri Gopal Ram Ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey, on the auspicious occasion of the school's 13th Foundation Day, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, Sunderkand Paath was organized in the school premises, in which Sunderkand Paath was completed in the dignified presence of all the staff of the school family and the parents of the children studying in the school. The program was started by lighting lamps and offering flowers to the oil paintings of Mata Saraswati, Shri Hanuman Ji, Lord Ram and Gurudev. Jaggery, gram, Shri fruit, banana and sweets were offered as bhog. Along with Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey, all the teachers and parents enthusiastically recited Sunderkand. Rudrashtakam and Hanuman Chalisa were also recited. Aghor Vidyapeeth is an institution established in the natural lap of Dalha mountain where special attention is given to the educational activities of the children and it was established by Param Pujya Baba Ji with the objective of providing higher education to the children of rural areas, which has fully developed in these 13 years and is capable of achieving its objective. The program was concluded with the Aarti of Shri Ramayan and Hanuman Ji and distribution of Prasad. The music teacher of the school, Shri Mahendra Gandharva, gave his special contribution in the program by playing tabla and all the teachers together made preparations for the worship. On the occasion of the 13th foundation day of the school, Principal Anjali Dubey got the cake cut by the hands of small children and congratulated everyone. In this way, the cooperation of all the employees and parents of the school was commendable in making the program successful.

School admission festival celebrated with great enthusiasm

On Monday, 16 June 2025, at Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara, under the blessings of the director of the institution, revered Baba Ji and the able guidance of the President of the institution, Shri Gopal Ram Ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey, during the special morning prayer meeting, the children were welcomed by applying tilak and performing aarti. The program was started by Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey by offering flowers to the idol of Mother Saraswati and Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu and lighting a lamp. To make this day special, the entire activity of the prayer meeting was completed by the teachers of the school, in which Saraswati Maa was worshipped and revered to explain the importance of education to the children. Expressing joy on the arrival of the children, all the teachers welcomed the children by singing a welcome song under the guidance of music teacher Mahendra Gandharva. The school entrance festival was celebrated with great pomp in the presence of all the teachers, staff and students of the school. The cooperation of all the teachers, students and staff of the institution was commendable in making the program successful.

International Yoga Day celebrated at AVP

International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June 2025 at Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara under the able guidance of the institution's president Shri Gopal Ram ji and Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey. The program started with the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa during the school's special morning prayer meeting. Thereafter, teachers and students practiced yoga under the guidance of sports teacher Harpreet Singh. Various activities like essay writing, quiz and dance competition etc. were conducted in the school on the occasion of Yoga Day. On the occasion of Yoga Day, children gained knowledge of various types of yogasanas and also enjoyed the activities conducted. Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey told the children that International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June. The idea of celebrating International Yoga Day simultaneously across the world was put forward by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, during his speech in the United Nations General Assembly on 27th September 2014 and this proposal received tremendous support from 177 out of 197 countries. Every year Yoga Day is celebrated with different themes and this time the theme for 2025 is 'One Earth One Health'. 21st June is also called Summer Solstice because this day is considered to be the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and Yoga also makes a person long-lived. The Principal inspired the children to do Yoga every day because Yoga makes a person physically and mentally strong. Celebrating 21st June as Yoga Day at the international level started in India in 2015. Doing Yoga keeps both the body and mind healthy. After that the children of the school did Yoga and meditation with joy. All the teachers, students and staff of the school played an important role in making the activities organised on the occasion of Yoga Day successful.

Degree award ceremony organized for newly elected student council at AVP

A degree conferment ceremony was organized for the newly elected members of the Student Council at Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara under the blessings of the school's founder Param Pujya Baba Ji 'Shri Kapalik Dharmarakshit Ram Ji and under the able guidance of the institution's President Shri Gopal Ram Ji, Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey. In this ceremony, as the chief guest, Mr. Swapnil Kumbhare, (Assistant General Manager) Mr. Prashant Singh Sengar, (HR) Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chandu (CSR) JSW Power Plant Nariyra, special guest Amarnath Pandey Advocate High Court Bilaspur, former Principal of the school Mr. Chitranjan Singh Chauhan, Mr. Raghuveer Singh and Mrs. Shweta Singh Chandel, Pratima Sagar (Sports Secretary), Mr. Shyam Kedia and members of the School Teaching Committee were present in the ceremony. First of all, the guests who came to the program were welcomed by presenting a flower bouquet and a plant. After that the guests were honored with a welcome song and Guru Vandana. The program was started with Saraswati Vandana by lighting lamps in front of the oil paintings of Maa Saraswati, Chattisgarh Mata, freedom fighter Shri Subhash Chandra Bose and the founder of Aghor cult, Bhagwan Dattatreya, Saint Kinaram, Maa Maitrayani and Avdhoot Bhagwan Ram. Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey congratulated all the newly elected office bearers of the school for discharging their responsibilities and administered oath to them. The march past was completed in a very disciplined manner by the newly elected office bearers of the student council.   Head Boy Arnav Singh and Head Girl Sneha Singh assured everyone to perform their duties honestly. Chief Guest Mr. Swapnil Kumbhare while addressing the elected officials and children motivated them to move forward and follow discipline. Shri Amarnath Pandey ji encouraged the children to keep moving forward and create their own distinct identity in the country. Shri Chitranjan Das Ji, who is also the former principal of the school, also encouraged the children to discharge their responsibilities faithfully. During the program, the students made the program more beautiful by presenting beautiful dance and songs and charmed the guests. Parents were also present in this ceremony and when their children were given badges and sashes and were entrusted with the responsibility, they became emotional. The theme of this program was Hareli, the first festival of Chhattisgarh, Kargil Vijay Diwas, a symbol of India-Pakistan war and formation of student council. This theme was presented very beautifully by the teachers of the school through rangoli and the children also presented a cultural program on the same theme. Teacher Bhupesh Nishad thanked the guests and parents for their dignified presence in this program. Thus, the cooperation of the students, teachers and all the employees of the school was commendable in making the student council formation ceremony successful and enthusiastic.  

AVP students secured first and third position in inter-school Kho-Kho competition

In Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara, under the blessings of the founder of the institution, Param Pujya Babaji Shri Kapalik Dharma Rakshit Ram Ji and the able guidance of the President of the institution, Shri Gopal Ram Ji, Principal Mrs. Anjali Dubey, the students of the school performed excellently in the inter-school Kho-Kho competition organized at Aghoracharya Baba Kinaram Vidyalaya Pendri Janjgir on Sunday, 27 July 2025, securing first and third positions and bringing glory to the school. Six teams from Janjgir participated in this competition, which included the school Aghor Vidyapeeth Podi Dalha Akaltara boys and girls team, Brilliant Public School Banari Janjgir, Saraswati Shishu Mandir Naila, DAV Lions Champa, Swami Atmanand Vidyalaya Janjgir and Aghoracharya Kinaram Vidyapeeth School Pendri Janjgir. Aghor Vidyapeeth's boys team Jitesh Sahu, Deepesh Oraon, Ashish Oraon, Vasant Oraon, Prashant, Ankit, Sumit, Vikas and Yash Kashyap, led by Shivam Singh, a class 12 student, defeated DAV Lions in the semi-finals and made their place in the final round and won the first place while competing with Saraswati Shishu Mandir boys team. Whereas, the girls team Kajal Kashyap, Shraddha Banjare, Namrata Sahu, Ragini Shrivas, Prachi Shrivas, Sneha, Rajlaxmi, Yashi Yadav, Chanchal Sahu, Tvamev Yadav, Aastha Singh, led by Kumari Hansika Sahu, a class 12 student, won the third place while competing with Swami Atmanand's girls team. Aghor Vidyapeeth's children gave their best performance in the competition and won the first and third medals in the inter-school Kho-Kho competition. The children brought pride to their school and region. On this excellent performance, the entire school family, Chairman Shri Gopal Ram Ji, Principal Mrs. Anjali congratulated them and encouraged them for such excellent performance in future also and received blessings from Baba Ji.
